Jessie doesn’t nerd out often but when she does, it’s about snakes or fashion. After she released Arbok and sent Seviper to HQ, I feel like she missed them so much she just got deep into ophiology
Three pictures are displayed. The first is a picture with a Magic the Gathering card and a circular piece of wood. The card has a circular piece taken out. The text reads as the following:
D&D players, here’s a great way to turn your old Magic cards into tokens in case you don’t have any minis.
The second is a reaction meme with Skipper from the Penguins of Madagascar TV show.
The third is a screenshot showing the value of the Magic the Gathering card from the first picture. At TCGplayer.com the card, a Black Lotus, is shows at the value of $42,000.

After reblogging this post an hour or so ago I wised up and realized there’s no reason to make a game token for a blue flower. To demonstrate the utility of this craft technique, you’d use an orc or an elf or something like that. The first image above has got to be a photoshop. Here’s the original image:
I hope I keep seeing iterations of this post with new additions of “actually that’s photoshopped, THIS is the real image” with an increasing number of wildly expensive Magic cards.
I havent seen this post in a while but the version i saw pointed out that the black lotus card used in the original post is a much less valuable reprint. This not making it any less funny since the intent is to joke about using a very valuable card. not that I can verify the validity of any of that.
My guys it is starting to work, I’ve seen some people I know complaining about the writer’s strike and turning against them because their favorite shows and/or movie got put on hold. Please do not be fooled like this, this is exactly what the corporations want. It can wait, I promise you will find other things to focus, but writers need this.
you can be upset that your fav show/movie is on hold, just make sure to place the blame on the right people. this strike is the fault of corporations not paying their writers enough. don’t blame the writers who made those shows/movies so good in the first place, who just want fair compensation for doing so. blame the corporations.
“trans people who dont medically transition deserve respect” and “talking about medical transition like it’ll turn you into a disgusting mutant is extremely transphobic” are statements that can and should coexist
like jesus christ every time i see a positivity post for trans people who aren’t medically transitioning there’s some asshole in the notes saying shit like “yeah not all of us hate ourselves enough to fuck up our bodies with hormones and surgery 🙄” like bro that’s literally just transphobia!!! stop that!!
